How to find Ecommerce ads on YouTube?

Brady Snow: Are you wondering what ads are running on YouTube for anything related to e-commerce? Do you wish you could see every single ad on YouTube that is related to e-commerce so that you can have better competitive intelligence than ever before to create your own ads with? Do you want to know what your competition’s doing? Well, if so, I’m going to show you today how you can do that. In fact, we’re going to have a race between these brand new automatic blinds behind me and Video Ad Vault. My Video Ad Vault account can search YouTube and find all the ads running for anything related to e-commerce or how to make money online. Affiliate marketing, whatever the niche, you can search it. You can search the entire YouTube ads database. So let’s go ahead and see what is going to be faster, Video Ad Vault searching all of YouTube for the ads running in a specific niche, or these blinds behind me.

All right. Like I said, we’re going to have a race today. We’re going to have a race between these automatic blinds behind me and my Video Ad Vault account. Here’s how it works. I’m going to go over there and push the button that makes these blinds start going up. And then I’m going to log in to my Video Ad Vault account, type in a search for e-commerce. And Video Ad Vaults’ going to search all the ads running on YouTube related to e-commerce. And then I’m going to click play on one of those ads, on the top ad with the most views. And if I can open that ad before these blinds get to the top, Video Ad Vault wins. If those blinds make it up before Video Ad Vault can open that top ad, then those blinds win. Those are the rules. We’re going to go for it. On your marks, get set, go.

All right, I’m clicking log in. Let’s go, baby. Here we go. Going to search ads, e-commerce. Boom! We got it! Here’s the top ad, 85 million plus views. I’m going to click play. Oh, we got plenty of time. Look at that. Look at that.

Speaker 2: Site speed matters.

Brady Snow: Site speed matters.

Speaker 2: I think a really good way of putting it is-

Brady Snow: Search speed matters on Video Ad Vault. Beats those blinds by like 10 seconds. Video Ad Vault, you win!

So if you’re a marketer and you’d like to understand what ads are running in your niche, what ads are successful, what landing pages they’re pushing to, you can use Video Ad Vault to search all the ads on YouTube like I just did here.

I searched e-commerce. Clearly Shopify’s running ads for e-commerce. And that ad I opened is for e-commerce. And it has 86 million views. I’m going to go ahead and just watch this ad and break it down for you real quick. This looks like a real short ad. Looks like brand awareness. Let’s go ahead and play it.

Create an effective hook

Speaker 2: Site speed matters. I think a really good way of putting it is, “If it’s not fast, it’s broken.” So here are five ways you can help increase your site speed and ultimately improve your customer experience.

Brady Snow: Okay, this is an ad that’s pushing to another YouTube video. But it shows you exactly what an ad needs in order to gain someone’s attention, to make them take action on the call to action.

Speaker 2: Site speed matters.

Brady Snow: Site speed matters. It starts with that statement, that hook. It’s an effective hook. Anyone that runs a site, they’re saying that speed matters. You’re going to listen up if you run a site. It’s going to speak to that audience. Anyone that’s running a website where they sell something, most likely. And not only is it just a speaker with a cool background, we have the text pop-up, too. Site speed matters.

Speaker 2: I think a really good way of putting it is-

Brady Snow: And then we got a graphic animation showing a website in action, right?

Speaker 2: If it’s not fast, it’s broken. So here are five-

Brady Snow: And then you go into five ways you can increase your site speed…

Speaker 2:… and ultimately, improve your customer experience.

Brady Snow: And improve your customer experience. That’s saying the benefit. If this was an in-stream ad, then it’d have the button that you can click. But then I can go and see where they’re pushing traffic to. I’m going to go ahead and click ad link. They’re pushing people to a YouTube video.

Speaker 2:… customers, it repels them.

Brady Snow: The longer version.

Speaker 2:… websites have been linked to higher bounce rates and lower conversions. I think a really good way of putting it is, “If it’s not fast, it’s broken.” Millisec-

Brady Snow: We got great animated graphics…

Speaker 2:… collection and homepage…

Brady Snow:… Shopify…

Speaker 2:… can provide you with a list of opportunities sorted by priority, as well as a score showing you where you fall in relation to other sites. So understanding what’s actually-

Present an irresistible offer

Brady Snow: Then they educate you on what they’re offering here. Likely there is another call to action, pushing someone towards something. And you can see it in the description here, “Learn how to improve your site speed, performance, and Google score with this advanced guide.” I click it. It’s a shortened link. It’s Shopify Plus, “Site speed has a price tag,” download the guide. It’s a lead magnet right there.

You can see how that short 15-second ad grabbed the attention of the target audience and then showed them where they could go, somewhere to get further educated on that topic. It was a YouTube video. And then that video pushes them to a landing page where they can opt in, and you get a lead. You download a lead magnet, you get a guide, you go on their email list, and then they can email you. And you’re a hot lead. You might buy it faster than these blinds can go up or down.

If you want to see other ads running in the e-commerce niche, you can scroll through here. Let’s find something with a little less views, but still quite a few. The Affiliate E-commerce Store Program. Let’s see what this is.

Speaker 3: 2022. Let’s talk about the updated version of how to make 2,500 to $25,000 a month now, this year. The world’s changed-

Brady Snow: Different style ad. Interesting. Let’s see where the ad is pushing to: “How to make $2,500 to $25,000 a month, partner with me in e-commerce.”
